Yes, just because most of the its crazy as hell and only he could pull it off. I'm obsessed with clothes/costuming, really. Purple Rain era was the shit when it came to clothes.

I love Prince's clothes. I've based so many pageant costumes off his outfits. (I even made a swimsuit from his Cream ensemble!)

For the most part, yes. In fact, I've based a lot of the clothes I've made over the years on ideas taken from Prince's clothing. Never direct copies (I couldn't carry most of his clothes off - we don't exactly have the same lifestyle ) - but adaptations that make them right for me.

Prince's coolest clothing was worn around the Parade era. Otherwise, I liked Prince's clothing -- on him -- only up until Lovesexy. Since then, his stuff has been alternately Punjabi maternity wear, oversized cableknit turtlenecks and the most absurd pimp attire with only the occasional sensible suit.

Sure of his stuff I would wear but some of it not so much. He has his own unique style that works for himself alone. I could not see any other stars wearing some of the things he used to put on nor in some cases would I want to. Definitely would love some of the suits that he sports but not the bottomless pants like Jack Shepherd wore Def Comedy Jam years ago lol.
