For some reasons in life I kind of stopped listening to music altogether for a while and today (well last night) I woke up and started digging through boxes of old cd's and tapes and now im dancing round my house to GOOD LOVE!!!!

I started listening to prince way bak when bootlegs came on tapes and u actually went to a record store to buy a record!!!!

And now i got so much to enjoy again Im sat hear surrounded by albums and it's like hearing them for the first time again....

Just wanted to share that with y'all

That is nice...When Old songs feel brand new. Sometimes I believe when we turn over new leafs, in our lives....Many songs sound brand new...Because we are brand new.

The other day, I had that feeling when I heard, "Sitting On the Dock of the bay." Otis Redding...And I have heard that song 500 times. The same thing with, "Dancin' in the Moonlight." By King Harvest.

The Prince Song that always sounds new to me...Strangely, is, "I would die 4 U." cool
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I love "Dancin in the Moonlight"

And "I would Die 4 U" is my jam because it took me so long to get that last part right. ("You're just a sinner I am told...etc.) cool

Your not alone in this regard. This happened to me in the 90's. I didn't listen to hardly any music, and then when I accomlished what needed to be done in my life it hit me all of a sudden...that sudden urge to bring music back into my life!!!! Playing catch up is fun!! biggrin
