First person to answer this Purple Rain Q wins a no prize!

I'm trying to recall the exact order the tracks appear in the movie. Not just the Prince tracks (way too easy) but also The Time, Apples, Dez tracks and the instrumentals, Possessed, God etc.

Any students of Purple Rain out there today?

1. Let's Go Crazy (Special Dance Mix)
2. Jungle Love
3. Take Me With U
4. Modernaire
5. Possessed
6. The Beautiful Ones
7. God (Insrumental)
8. When Doves Cry
9. Computer Blue
10. Darlin' Nikki
11. Sex Shooter
12. The Bird
13. Purple Rain
14. I Would Die 4 U
15. Baby, I'm A Star

Sorry, don't have info on incidental music and such, as it's just a homemade compilation, but in the order of the movie.

Now, where's my non-prize?!

Technically you should not receive a prize. Sex Shooter was played twice, the first time being during the "girl group" dance scene. Not to mention whyat was to be called Purple Rain, which was called "slow Jam" on the cassette was played partially before the first time Prince got his ass beat, another time when lisa and wendy were rehearsing and he asks "can't you just leave it alone," and again as he was practicing after his dad shot himself and through the intro to the time's last set. In addition, Computer Blue was being rehearsed by Brown Mark, Bobby Z and Matt Fink when the kid showed up late.

I have to go back and find posessed though.
I may have the jelly 4 ur peanut butta but u got 31 hours and 21 minutes left.

shit, almost forgot... his father played, "Father's Song" on the piano... its called that in the Purple Rain Sheet Music I got back in the day.. which is part of Computer Blue The guitar solo. Also i tHINK four notes each (piano then Synth) of that song was played when prince was tossing sheet music in the air to signify to the audience that it was his father's song. Now I thought there was a title on that sheet music in the film.

It's in the scene where Morris and Apollonia are at the table in First Avenue.

I didn't include rehersals and all that jive for my compilation, just official releases and circulating out-takes wink

Then God should not have been in there because it sounds nothing like the b sideneither does possesed now that i hear the notes -

falloff

We're getting very, very technical! The instrumental version of Possessed is the one in PR.

I think New Dance deserves the no prize. Just contact Stan Lee, he keeps 'em in his fridge.
I prefer the alternate versions of The Beautiful ones (longer version), the hallway version of Computer Blue and the alternate Darling Nikki.
