enough is ENOUGH!!

Yes I know you're all upest with the gig cancelled but I'm sick of reading "you can go and die for all I care" or calling him a "rancid little c*nt". I'm shocked to be honest and lacks any kind of maturity that I liked on this forum sad
Coming out with such bile is'nt going to bring the gig back shake

It's not easy for people in Ireland or in other countries to arrange going to a Monday show,

People went out of there way for Prince, and we have pretty much been treated like shit,

I'd be fine if we got a bit of notice, but it's a week before the show, a bloody week.

How rude of him and his people.

Well most of them are just too immature to handle dissapointment, they don't realize that things like this happen with Prince and he doesn't give explanations either.

True, true- but it is prue emotion, i can see why ppl r saying it. i'd be mighty pissed if i had tix and missed out.

hate is a very strong emotion- ppl have to be feeling pretty hurt right about now.

i just wish they( promoters/P's ppl) would say why.

rescheduling to me is the following week or month! Stating that it may be rescheduled sometime in 2009 might as well be a totally different show. I think as far as 'The Hits' shows go - this is now the end.

Something bigger than what we know must be going on - it was only a couple of weeks ago that even the support act was announced which must have meant that all sorts of arrangements and contracts were being set up!

May be Prince's hip has finally given way????? wink

Give Prince some credit. He played 21 nights in London at just £31.21 a ticket. He could've done 8 nights at £75 and made more money. The Stones were £150 upwards when they played the O2.

I think he enjoys performing and does value his fans. Let's trust he has a genuine reason, e.g. health, to cancel the show.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. It's not often that he cancels shows so something major must've happened behind the scenes for this to have happened. I am sorry for all the fans who brought tickets but I believe that he's got a plan for you guys. Besides, he was just in Europe less than a year ago so hang tight and don't lose your minds in the process. You'll see him soon.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I can compeltely Understand people being mad about the cancellation...Definantly...I would want to kick his butt nod thumbs up!

But having said that I think the "F**k Off and Die" Threads are a bit much....

WTF people...its not like Prince is the first Person to cancell a concert in this friggin century.
..and there could be any number of reasons why

For the recored I hope all of u get ure money back grouphug

I'm keeping the Killer new album this year followed by world tour next year thoughts in my head as Mental therapy to not feel too grieved!!!

I'm also waiting for the formal announcement of why before I make too serious a comment!

The thing is, if it was the money as is being rumoured now, why now, cause the O2 shows were a give away!

I went to 11 shows and 4 aftershows and still spent less than a friend who bought 4 Madonna tickets!!!

Upset - Yes, but Madly Hating Him for it? No.

At least it's not got cancelled on the actual night. I've had that experience before and that really sucks!!!!! Michael Jackson did that before as well!!! It could be worse!!!!

Agreed, all the vitriol is becoming tiresome. I was livid as hell when I found out it was cancelled, and it's the second time for me (I also had tickets for the cancelled SOTT concert in Wembley), but concerts do occasionally get cancelled.

Well maybe Prince did cancel on a whim, or because of greed, or perhaps as has been suggested it's down to a fuck up by AEG and MCD.

Regardless, all the cack that is being spewed out is just a waste of energy, but I guess people need to vent. I guess the over-reactions are understandable, if immature.

Things will calm down again soon. And perhaps as you (purplecam) suggest, Prince has an alternate plan to make up for our suffering and pain. I guess we'll then see a considerable amount of post editing as people try to retract their vented spleenage.
Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

I knooow, I was shocked when I logged in a few minutes ago. Concerts...entire tours...cds...get cancelled all the time for a multitude of reasons. And I bet its not to personally spite fans.
People are acting like babies whose mama told them they couldn't go to Disney Land.
Its just a concert, its not like he cancelled Christmas.
From the reactions here you'd think he slapped someones mama.

ok so that made me laugh
and jeez i know !
And if you were with me tonight,
I'd sing to you just one more time.
A song for a heart so big,
god wouldn't let it live.
