yes or no. should prince have backup dancers or not? do u like prince with a stripped down band or with backup dancers as well. i prefer him with just a straight out band like his lovesexy band!  BOB4theFUNK | |

Honestly...I dnt thnk P really needs a band or dancers. He cud jus get on stage with a guitar/piano n still b outstanding. But I really dnt mind if he does have em....I thnk I prefer a band ovr dancers. But eithr 1 iz ok with me as lng as P iz n da spotlight | |

I honestly don't care whether he has dancers or not, but I must admit - I have enjoyed his "sans dancers" shows more than those that have had them.
Nothing against the girls - I'm just usually watching him and don't really care what else is going on.  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

Thou one of them did provide entertainment in Vegas when a drunken fool reached 4 her, she damn near freekd. But P'z peeps were there in a flash, surrounding. at least it got her off the little stage by me and was replaced by Prince later. | |

I think Prince likes having dancers, it gives him something to play off, you know, gives him energy. Sometimes, some nights on stage it must be hard to be up there on your own, even with all his talent with no one to help the energy along, or take the focus away from you for even a few moments. I think dancers inspire him too ... | |
