i think prince is very underrated 4 his piano playing. we all know how he rocks out on the quitar.

i think i've heard more variety from prince on guitar, but he does play piano quite beautifully and i think he has a very distinct style on the keys.

prince have totaly diffrent aprouch on guitar he is raw and funky,on piano he is very soft

On the GeetR. He's a damn good pianist, but I think he can do more with the Guitar.

I am voting guitar. I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man. That guitar work kills every time --I am transported to heaven for 6 1/2 min.

I have to say piano/keyboards. I could listen to him play without even singing for hours. Knowing that he's self taught makes it that much sweeter...

It's a bit hard comparing, as they are two such different instruments with such different uses; guitar is so much more useable in different ways. Piano, most times, is just piano.

That said, I wish Prince would do more songs like One Night Alone, which is too freaking beautiful for words. And his most beautiful songs are piano-based. I love the piano version of Purple Rain...

I vote guitar just the same, as Prince's guitar playing gave us stuff as Alexa De Paris and God Instrumental...
