But yeah, I think there has been some musical comparisons made in the past as well. Just not by Prince himself, obviously

A. Cy has told me that Phil was a major influence on himself. That was very evident when he played in Prince's band. He also said that he and Prince both dug Phil and Prince liked the twin guitar element that Thin Lizzy did.

I love Thin Lizzy. I still have my brothers Thin Lizzy Records. I've never thought of that till I read this. That does makes sense though. cool
