Printablei'm 5'4, never had a problem in sports or with women, prince should take the final step and ditch the heels, he dont owe anyone any excuse. your height is beyond your control and more importantly a genetic trait, i dont want to look like anyone but my parents and my parents are short. when prince wears heels it's as self defeating as micheals plastic surgery. | |

wow, the whole "diminutive rocker" subject is a sensitive one!
I believe Prince wears heels because he's self conscious about his height. But he's cool enough that he has incorporated it into his image as a whole, so it appears as more of a strength than an insecurity. Prince's whole image might be different if he'd been "born like my brother, handsome and tall." I am glad he wasn't, however! If he'd been born different his music would have been different. So no, I don't think he'd wear them if he was a "taller normal height."  And he probably shouldn't wear them now, they're terrible for your feet!My Legacy

Why does everyone assume that being short makes u insecure?? Nothing wrong with a man who's 5'2, either, but I can understand how he'd feel insecure about it. I know plenty of women who have said they wouldn't date a guy shorter than them. I think the question should be:
"If Prince were taller would he still be the same person?" And my answer would be: "No. My speculation would simply be: If Prince were taller maybe he'd be playing basketball (we know he used to play); and then there's also the possibility of a "Napoleon complex;" someone with something to PROVE because maybe they're not given the attention of taller people. |
