A few years ago I was at a friends house who is also a prince fan and had loads and loads of interviews on cd with prince from over his career but I always remember one bit in paritcular from one of the interviews I heard. I cant tell you where or when the interview was from but Im pretty sure it was in europe possibly germany. The interviewer asks prince something like do your ever write poetry not lyrics just poetry, and prince says something like, some of my lyrics that wont fit into a song you could call that poetry and he is asked to give an example and this is the bit I definitely remember because its so weird prince says> Pigeons fly but nevermore lying crying on the floor take your brother by the hand and lead him into freedom grand.

I mean the last line might make some sense if he had said freedom land but grand? and the pigeons stuff now thats just weird. Can anyone tell me what interview this is from and what the hell it means?

But I love the word Grand~ It's one i use alot

It's Grand, & to me one of the highest emotions that can be felt
or postion 2 be obbtain'd. 2 be Grand, feel Grand or Have a Grand time or Life
