Suprisingly I hadnt even heard of this album before not even fams talking about it on here and came across it on ebay a week ago. I really love this soundtrack even if it has songs released before on other albums,but i think its a great piece in my P collection and another thing it contains most of my all-time fave P tunes - Adore,Girls & Boys,Hot Thing,Erotic City and How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore(with improved sound especially from thos taken from SOTT cuz the sound quilaty on that cd is terrible) It contains his more abscure songs wich i like.Altho must say im not 2 keen on Nasty Girl by Vanity(maybe itll grow on me) Screams of Passion is growing on me more,She Spoke 2 me i already own on The Vault album(dont really like that much) Girl 6 is an ok song tho. But I absolutley adore Count The Day's and Don't Talk 2 Strangers,especially the latter cuz u know its a tune only P could write. Anyway i truly think its a perfect companion 4 the ultimate album or very best of. infact i rank this 1 higher in my opinion.very sexy indeed Anyways i was wondering what u guys thought of it? and is the film any good?

the very first "prince" album i ever bought. got it after seeing the movie, which i actually like a lot. not some of spike lee's "best" work, but it's a fun little movie. gotta love the look of the film, the camera work and all and theresa randle does a great job with a half-baked character/script. underrated actress, imo. all the songs in the movie aren't on the soundtrack and that's how i became a prince fan. buying albums for those songs and discovering a bunch more . agree this a great collection and a special one for me personally .

The Screams of Passion

i like the movie and sdtrk.i got it before i was really a big fan so i thought songs like how come u dont call me anymore...were "new" songs .i was surprised when i found out it wasnt. not to mention its remasted so the songs sound great! the cross doesnt have to be turned up all the way to hear it.

I love the soundtrack too!! I had seen it on the TV awhile ago and posted 2 tell everyone that it was playing and somehow my post turned into a thread about the movie.. guess crazier things have happened.
