I love this song too, love the lyrics love the album actually, was very impressed with it as it was p's first. I would love to hear him sing some of the song's live, thats if there is gonna be a concert in the future/??? | |

I agree. i disagree.  that whole mid-section with with you, when we're dancing close and slow and this song is just  to me. they just don't sound like "prince" songs to me, no gusto  . the rest of the album is pretty tight though.  For all time I am with you, you are with me. | |

I agree that the 2 middle songs are pretty weak. However, the rest of the songs on the album are wonderful, and Still Waiting has always been my favorite on the album. I can understand you not liking "With U", but "When We're Dancing Close and Slow" is about as sexy as it gets and "Still Waiting" is gorgeous, so we'll have to disagree there. I actually think one of the weaker tracks on the album is Prince's original recording of "I Feel 4 U". It sounds lame as hell. Still Waiting was covered by a British female duo called Dorothy back in the 80s I think. I would love to hear that version again, I remember it was quite good. | |

It's a really nice song. I used to skip it when I'd play the Prince album but in the last few years, I've grown fond of it. Nice, simple tune. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |
