Guitar was best track at the O2!! Listening to Guitar from the 18th Aug last year and I have to say it gives me goose bumps every time. Absolutely massive live and something I think he had in mind when he wrote it. From the big shows it kicked ass every night.
Or is it just me? | |

Or is it just me? no i would say it was the one track that woke me up while listening 2 the shows and whenever he played 3121 ..otherwise everything else was man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Or is it just me? He didnt play Guitar on the 18th August I fucking love the first four tracks, 3121, girls and boys, 1999 and Peach. Those were awesome to hear live, 3121 only even played twice and my mate saw it both times and I saw it once I got more hits than Madonna's got kids!

Or is it just me? Yes, it's perfect live, good fun! I hadn't listened to PE before I went to the O2 and I loved it and was laughing straight away! [Edited 6/5/08 13:01pm]

'guitar' was definately the track that picked up momentum as the 21 nights progressed, and by the end it was a real crowd favourite... 'lolita' on the other hand went down like a fart in a spacesuit.

This one started with 1999 am followed by musicology and then price and the band

I agree - Lolita sounded fuddled at the live shows. The heavy heavy synth and raw sound in guitar was awesome and hit you right in the guts

there was a night when his ooooh oooooh ooooh ooooh's in Purple Rain went on for around 10 minutes and I was totally blown away. That was one of my highlights from the O2. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
