its an easy word to use. I'd say it was justified indignation. Sometimes that emotion is the right one when you're dealing with evil. But, he kept taking Evil's money. Evil, in fact, paid him a LOT of money, throughout their relationship. So much money that TIME magazine actually interviewed him about it. Exactly. Dude signed contracts with WB for over 15 years and suddenly, it was a problem for him. If a man doesn't read the googobs of documents he signs, whose fault is that? He who takes the king's shilling becomes the king's man. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I wish I could have seen your mom's face when she realized 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I saw the "Jam of the Year" tour multiple times, and I KNEW that Prince would be on top of the left speaker for the bass solo. So at one show (PNC Arts Center, NJ), I begged the security guard to walk me down to the stage JUST for that song (7th in the set), because I had bought an ace card at Party City and had it laminated. When Prince said, "Next time U pull a card, it better be an ace!", BAM! I popped it up in his face! He looked at me, chuckled, finished the song & I went back 2 my seat happy. I posted this story in a thread last year called "FAM SHAME " Then on my 30th birthday, a friend of mine who "collects" made me a tape called "Face Down at 30" with 7 different versions of the song from different "JoY" shows. I was playing it in my car, and my Mother said, "Have we been listening to the same song over & over?" Now I usually skip it on shuffle. I think I killed it. What a great story! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
