As people mature they change their mind about certain things. It would be a shame if Prince would still use the profanities and suggestive language he used when he was in his twenties. Prince still looks very young, but don't let his youthful looks fool you. Prince is no longer a rebellious, young man who likes to shock the world with his suggestive lyrics and behavior. He is a mature man and there is nothing wrong if he acts like one.
Everybody who doesn't like the new version can always listen to the old lyrics.

i agree that listening to the edited version of prince's songs is like seeing a yellow smiley face where the mona lisa once used to smirk.

but, he is free to re-work his songs just as we are free to not listen to the newer versions

I dont see why there is any reason to get upset by the absence of suggestive lyrics or swearing, like the other 95% of the population are giving about its inclusion.
