do u feel prince should collaborate with rock legends to get his juices flowing? i think prince should jam out in the studio with the likes of jimmy page or ron wood. i want prince to get into more of a rock mode now. i'm sick and tired of all of his funk jams. it's time for prince to just do the blues combined with a rock vibe to it. I don't feel P needs to do that to get his "juices flowing". If P wanted to, he could have done that years ago. The fact that he hasn't shows that he simply doesn't want to. Hell, he could have worked with Clapton who has said Purple Rain is his favorite song. P definately could have worked with Carlos. The only thing P has done was an answer song to Lenny's "Rock and Roll Is Dead" with "Rock and Roll Is Alive".

Prince doesn't need to play with other rock legends.
He IS a rock legend. It'll be like two magnets kicking apart if he records with someone else. I want the man to stay solo. I love a Man who:

I believe he is just unhappy at the moment.He bares all of his TRue feelings in his music.It's his way of communicating with us all.
In the last 10 years(or more so)he has been through so much.I think all that he needs is understanding and privacy. When he is happy we will hear it.  | |
