check out www.presentationzen.com for some great tips www.sxc.hu for some great (copyright free) photo material good luck and remember ... 2 much text will kill you every time Thanks! Look at it this way: the people are there to listen to you, not to watch your slides. Your slides only support what you are saying. Use images, Pecha Kucha doesn't allow text on your slides Make your slideshow so it runs automatically, changes slides every 20 seconds. First write down what you want to say, break it up in 20 paragraphs and mold them until they fit the 20 second rule. Start with a bang (I have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to talk about Prince and his fanbase, that's less than the total duration of his best-known song Purple Rain but converted to feet it's more than his length. Look for pictures that don't have anything to do with Prince at all ... but for instance find a picture of an orchestra when you talk about his multi-instrumentalism (sp ?)

I see you're used to this I have actually thought about that and yes, come to the conclusion that it would be boring to just use pictures that show Prince. Gotta be more creative than that. He's gonna be on some but not most.
