"Under the cherry moon" - Cheesy? Me and my friend Col sat in and watched "Under the cherry Moon" last night.
I forgot how cheesy a film it was as it must be at least 7 years since I watched it. I couldn't believe I could quote lines from it including the verse about " If I was anything other than human I'd be the one in your bath!" ( Used that on Valentines cards years ago) It was cringe worthy but great to reminisce! What's your view? http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

Damn right! as well as " Tell me what is the answer to the quetion of u?"
I have stopped now due to a massive crash and burn rate! It worked once! She was a prince fan so knew exactly what I meant! Come on, we've all used a cheesy Prince line to chat someone up? Haven't we? http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

I have got the worst hearing!
It's sounds better than one in your bath! That's why it never worked for me! Cheers for clearing that up! I hate quoting on the org. I'm always spotting mistakes in what other people quote. I must have that disease...Stupid! Damn, another quote! http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

I like this movie. It takes place in the South of France. Prince plays a gigolo and his love interest is played by Kristen Scott Thomas who later
became a major star as opposed to a forgotten Prince protege.

In my opinion it was a great movie, it was good to see Prince having so much fun and being funny and carefree. He was great in that movie. I have to admit that I cried the very first time I saw it. I was 10 years old.

I like this movie and I think the cinematography is fantastic. I saw UTCM on cable about a month ago-- it was on immediately after "River's Edge". I was blown away at how one movie from 1987 could appear so dated by today's standards while another (UTCM) looks as though it could have been filmed yesterday.
I'll say it again -- movie critics are fools! Jason

What is wrong with you beautiful people. Under the Cherry Moon was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time (well maybe I'm stretching it a little) but I love it. Mary Sharon was fine, Tricky was classic, and Christopher Tracy was the Pan. (as in Peter Pan) And his 1968 Buick convertible with the vanity plates that read LOVE. Every Players dream. And he found a Love that he was willing to die for. Come on, if that had been Brad Pitt or Robert Redford playing C Tracy, he would have won 3 Oscars. Well maybe I am dreaming a little but I play this movie for my A-List Friends. If they are not on the A-list, they have to settle for The Muppets.
Peace and be Wild How you gonna get my back when you fronting.

There is a few scenes in this movie that are a little hard to take but I love watching this movie.I hate the part where Prince is on the couch eating the grapes. But he is so cute in that hat and I love the Mountains video at the end.

I've used "u selfish son of a biscuit eater" before Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I may get bashed for this, but I happen to hold the opinion that this movie is better than Purple Rain for Prince. He was absolutely fabulous in this movie...beyond the fact that he was the hottest thang in the South of France! His acting was much better here than in Purple Rain, and as "nitab" said, he was so carefree in this movie...his acting was very believable and funny
My favorite scene is the bat scene...funny!! And when he says "Please!" so desperately when he calls Isaac! Tina (~!~)

I said Cheesy not Crap!
I love the film, I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't! I can watch it anytime but I still cringe at certain points, not always at the acting but sometimes at the fact that I can still quote whole scenes after not watching it for years! Chill peeps P http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

A great film!
But weird, too: Why was Jerome in the bathroom while Prince was taking a bath, throwing rose petals into it? Nah, man. We can be buds. But we can't be Bath Buds...

What Savage is forgetting to tell you is that he was crying like a baby when Christopher died.
