Just for toratoradreams no caps.... at last some replies to the question, this is not a hate thread i am a 34 (35 2 days after prince hits 50) old who has listen and bought prince since 1983. There is no hate, there is my way of looking at things he has done and with hindsight they don't always seem to be the best choice (in my eyes). I love the Batman ost but he put to much of himself into it he should have stepped away from it. He had just done Sott album,tour,movie and then lovesexy album and tour and then comes Batman, he should have put his owm album out as well. Sott is a masterpiece and Lovesexy just flows (the one track cd is the best way to listen to it no skipping). Lovesexy is a big part of my life the first tour of many i've been to, Batman the year i left school, i just think Batman should of been the other album by him that year. | |

He was a very easy target before the name-change. But the name-change certainly made it easier. He's always gonna be an easy target, but his talent has gotten his name back in the press in recent years. I think MJ unintentionally helped the perception of Prince. I LIKE THE QUESTION OF U! There is plenty great stuff on the Graffiti Bridge album besides Theives...um Joy In Repetition???, Question of U, Release It, Can't Stop This Feeling...ELEPHANTS AND FLOWERS!!!, and as corny as it is I love New Power Generation. I hate when people put down this album. Yes it has weak material and the movie SUCKED, but the great songs are worth defending!!! Oh, and on the topic of the thread (sorry) I think he should have taken the Sign o the Times tour to states, not posed nude on the Lovesexy cover (it took attention away from a good album), and finally NEVER hired Tony M.
