Similie-a figure of speech using some point of resemblance observed to exist between two things which differ in other respects.

A metaphor does not use like or as.

And also the 'God is love, love is God' thing which goes on for ages at the end of Anastacia. What? In the first verse he sings 'Have you ever been so lonely that you'd play with anyone boy or girl?'.... how do lyrics like these fit with the whole God thing - again, whereas you could happily play Anastacia around your friends you have to press skip when you get to the God bit, not everyone likes to have the religious stuff pushed into their faces.
