?uestlove has a Prince story I found this story kind of charming. It's from the last page of the June 2008 issue of Blender:
Do people ever confuse you with someone else? Back in 1999, Prince gave a lunchtime concert and spotted me in the audience. He was like, "Get on the drums." The next day, a newspaper wrote, "The highlight of the jam was 1960s drum legend Buddy Miles, who is miraculously timeless." The first e-mail Prince ever sent me had that article. Subject line: "What the hell is going on?"

He also talked about (in dif article) that he was jamming with Prince and he (P) forgot the bridge of Dorthy Parker....?uestLove had to remind him....he was like "Who the hell could forget the bridge to one of the best songs ever?" Prime aka The Kid

I remember that. It must be quite easy 2 forget a part of one your own songs, if you've written hundreds, possibly thousands, of songs. "He's a musician's musician..."

I remember that. It must be quite easy 2 forget a part of one your own songs, if you've written hundreds, possibly thousands, of songs. Plus ... U don't write it down.... I remember one of the game boyz said you can always tell when he forgets a word because he would point the mic at the audience for them to sing out of nowhere.... My man is human and shoot...I forget the words myself....A lot better then I would do.... Prime aka The Kid
