I saw a documentary on PBS on Marvin Gaye last night. Since Prince use to go with his daughter Nona, have you ever heard Prince say anything about Marvin? I also that he was one of Prince's mentors. What reminde me of Prince was how Marvin was always torn between his sexuality and his spirituality.

I remember reading once that Marvin hated Prince and thought he was a cross-dresser like Marvin's father was known to be.

I read in a biography about Marvin that he didn't care for Prince (especially after he hit it big with "I Wanna Be Your Lover". A lot of the reviewers at the time were referring to Prince as a new sex symbol. Here My Dear is a true Masterpiece. It gets overlooked by so many, but it is a true love story that ends in tragedy.

It seems Marvin entire life was tragic and he and Marvin had a lot in common with their stubborness in their musical ambition, the 2 wives and divorces and in the end Marvin even appeared onstage in nothing but a pair of black underwear just like the ones Prince use to wear back in the day.Marvin's middle name is .Pentz which sounds like Prince. It kinda spooked me when I saw that
