after PARADE my fave era

-probably the last time he was realy cutting edge

I like that red suit with cane. His posture is weird, but I like it.

Anyway, I got some nice pictures of this era I've never seen online before. I'll scan them later today and put them up for some time...

The pleasure in posting pictures is supposed to be leaving some for somebody else to post isn't it?

his golden music sounded great! even if he sometimes looked saddam hussein insane...

Maybe it's me but the entire time he was with Mayte he looked weird.

All of these images below and shown above ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ are from 1993, not 1994 or 1995 (even though it seems). Check the hair style -- modified typhoon do with some crimping.

Most of these images are from the 1993 European tour. Check The Sacrifice of Victor (video and book).

this for me was one of the best periods of time to be a prince fan! the music was awesome!!! it was thrilling, it was something un-expected, which i don't hear much of lately.

Okay - so some folks say this was one of their fave eras.
Others say he looked insane.
In both cases: WHY do like/dislike this era?

Good question twistee! For me, he looked too glam, too processed, too made up! I understand that the image was supposed to relate to the music, but I think all of the trappings that came with it just helped make him seem further out of touch with popular culture.
