It was released in Europe where I bought two copies in Paris. Unfortunately, I can only watch it on my laptop due to the formatting of the DVD. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Get the Canadian version. It's official and it's excellent. Avoid the Brazilian version at all costs.

I can't believe, despite the fandom of prince.orgers how much people fail to talk about this DVD release!! I've been talking it up since it first popped up on amazon.ca and I see the same questions and comments on SOTT every month!! "Why no SOTT dvd?" "Is there a better quality release than the brazillian version?" CANADA, under the distribution of cineplex odeon, the distributors of the original SOTT film, remastered the film, in widescreen, in 5.1. Buy it! It's an excellent version. It looks and sounds better than the warner releases of the Hits and Diamonds and Pearls. Buy it! "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan
