This could have been a huge single with the right publicity. It's a shame Prince lost touch with marketing and let countless hits slide by him. In fact, it's almost a miracle that PE and 3121 achieved the sales they did with such poor exposure.

I think that song is really lovely, so sincere and musically unlike anything he'd ever done. It reminds me a bit of Blessid Union (She loves me 4 me lyric sounds similar as it is, but I mean the general sound here).

i remember i was involve with someone at the time, and i always played this song, that relationship did not last long and that song is replaced with the last december as my most played track on that album....

but at the time that was my favourite track...its the other side of the coin compare to his ..i love you but dont trust you anymore

the one thing i dont like about it is the use of stereo with the keys. when listening to the song on earphones, it really gets on my nerves

I love she loves me for me. I think it's one of his nicest songs.

Sometimes, when a a thread appreciation is here, I run to the stereo and play it as I am writing, which I just did...Family name is playing now...

"She loves me 4 me" has a very nice windy light rock to it...kind of lullabye.

It's the best song on TRC. Not that that says much.
