Yeah, that must be it cuz she's not in the video. From what I recall she sang on some Usher songs that I believe Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis produced in Minneapolis but they ended up removing her vocals from the final versions and someone else to record them.

As for the DVD/CD rumors, I'll believe it when you can pre-order at Amazon. Folks need to not get their hopes up until then, period.

That said, here's hoping any DVD release will look better than the AWFUL Live At The Aladdin. Otherwise, why bother?

I like that u used "tolerable" to describe some of the trax on PE. I never would have thought of that. When I think about it, I do tolerate songs like FBM, The One U Wanna C and Chelsea Rodgers. I like the trax, but don't LOVE any of them. That's the same way I feel about NPS and NEWS. Don't get me wrong, NEWS is NOT my favorite P album by a long shot, but it's OK...not excellent (to me).

Prince the musical auteur is becoming an author. 21 Nights, a photographic essay that offers "a rare glimpse into the life, lyrics, and mystique" of the maker of such hits as 1999 and Purple Rain, will be published worldwide this year, according to Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

The book, his first, is based on Prince's 21 sold-out concerts in as many nights at London's O2 Arena in 2007.

"Juxtaposing his duelling worlds of music and solitude, it (21 Nights) will incorporate Prince's evocative poetry and lyrics to new songs and other selections, and 124 full-colour, sumptuous, never-before-published images by celebrated photographer Randee St Nicholas,"

Atria announced yesterday.

21 Nights will include a CD of after-hours jams, Indigo Nights, unavailable from any other outlet.
