The rest of us, choose or fall into careers/work/hell with some degree of choice, but if youre really exceptionally talented in a field then that is all you can do.
Some peeps are mediocre at music/singig and therefore have shorter careers and become shop shelf fillers, burger flickers etc but the truly genius or talented however you put it - simply exist in that form.

I mean hes artistic etc but its like someone who paints and thats all they do like Hockney, how would he ever have done anything else, sure he dabbled in stage design etc but ultimately makes a career as an artist.

Prince wouldnt have been anything else, hes Prince - born that way.
