Prince in Europe

Michael were big everywhere in the world by 1984. The the early 90s came. Both Prince and Michael's went down in the states by 1994. Prince has seemed to avoid the gossip of being wierd Michael all but hasn't. COmibined with a different sound of music and rumours he wanted to change his skin Michael hasn't toured The US in 20 years. Princ has, thought I don't recall him doing a full US Tour til '97. Prince sold the arena out here in Houston 2 nites in a row and is the largest performance there. Michael should be able but doesn't want to.

Then there's Europe. Like many place in The World Michael and P are still extremely popular. Seems both toured outside The States more than in them. Pictures eem to say Prince is touring stadiums around the world while has only done stadiums a few times in The US. WHen you mention Michael or Princein Europe do people still scream and line up for hours at stadiums to get in the very front of the stage?

Then there's the regions of Europe. England,Germany, France and Sweden are bout the biggest music buying nations in Europe. Germany and The United Kingdom at the top of those Where would you say Prince is more popular Germanu or The U.K.?

Definitely the U.K.

There doesn't seem to be any lobby for him in Germany! Very rarely somebody would talk about him, mention his name, the Super Bowl performance, the Musicology tour, or Coachella is absolutely unknown! Let alone the 21 Nights in London last year!!!

"Prince? The one with the name change? And he's still making music???"

He hasn't been in Germany for 6 years now (ONA tour 2002) and I sooooo like him to do some gigs here, you can't believe it! Gotta show that he's still there and alive!

Hi,

Prince has many fans in germany, too.
Whenever he releases a new album, the papers are
writing big articles about him and his last three albums
were all Top 10 here.
But it`s true that unlike the U.K. he didn`t perform here live since 2002 , so
that would help.... biggrin
