Xpedition Appreciation Thread. This track just tears it up.
I am constantly amused at how folks say Prince doesn't have solid grip on Jazz-Fusion. He started playing this kind of stuff as a kid. I'd say he's handling every instrument perfectly. This track is a great example. If people thought it was Herbie Hancock, they'd be raving about it. "He's a musician's musician..." |
