One of the "correspondents" on Access Hollywood ran into Prince at The Tonight Show.

I'm thinking he's read some of her work. If I were him I wouldn't acknowlege her either.

I like this woman, she tells it like it is. Some of the stuff he does is a lil silly and prob annoying for those who have to work with him. Don't like the fact people are 'shoved' out of the way.

He is the same as everyone at the end of the day and in TV studio environments its foolish to act so harsh. My friends were once at a gig and his girlf is small she got sent flying by Kate Moss's security that night, he complained to the venue and got free tickets but its the principle of it. They had paid to be there so why should they get shoved, these people work at the TV studio they're not manic Prince fans so why should they get shoved as well?

Let's break down what happened.

She heard from someone that Prince doesn't like being looked in the eyes.

She looked Prince in the eyes. Didn't say anything, just looked at him.

He went on about his day.


Seriously, there are plenty of Prince is an Asshole stories, but this doesn't seem like one of them.

Ive seen carly or I think I have, wasnt she on the 'later with jools holland show' on Friday night (UK)? she was pretty good a very unique voice - if it was her, shes canadian i think.

They lady that told her that was from 19 management. Is this not the mgmt company from American Idol.

The blogger did not get this info from Prince or P's bodyguards. The blogger just assumed that he did not want eye contact and bitched about it the whole time.

I do not think P is a saint but, all accounts he seems to have come down to earth a tad over the last decade or so. In addtion, he did do a couple of extra songs for the fans at the taping and I do not think The Tonight Show would have him on at all if he was a total ass to deal with.

I just read that blog, and don't have anything wrong with what Prince did. I am sure Prince can care less about smiling to someone waiting in the hall.

So, she respects him playing extra songs for the audience, what does she not respect? What did he do wrong exactly? Not stop and speak to a complete stranger, who appeared to be hanging around a bit too much? That he didn't stop and say "Hi, how about a drink later?" Pfft.....

Oh PS He made eye contact with ME!!!!! Just saying .....

One thing I will say, whether she was stalker-esque or not that day, the first time he passes people why can't he just smile(not say owt) and move on. I always smile people when I pass, just makes the world a nicer place when people start smiling at people they meet. The fact he doesn't just smile and move on is a bit lack lustre on effort from him. Come on Prince a smile don't cost anything! see! lol!

Hell, I don't speak to people who just stop and stare at me like they are stupid either. Maybe if she had opened her mouth and said Hello, and not been so RUDE, he would've said Hello. She's just a hater who nobody's even heard of. Is "blogging" a "real" job anyway?

No offense intended, but I'm gonna guess that Prince has a few more people trying to get some sort of reaction out of him than you do.

There are certainly other celebrities who handle that situation better, but I can see how 30 years of being famous can make someone a little reluctant to smile at everyone who looks at them.
