At 50, I'm not sure if I want the old nasty Prince back.
It's just nice he doesn't preach his ass off anymore.

But I shudder to imagine what he'd look like now in a bikini, leg warmers, and a bandanna around his neck falloff

but that's not important right now....

As if he's about to do anything than continue to censor, dilute and all together ignore his past "nasty" catalogue.

He made an innuendo in a terribly flat by-the-numbers James Brown rip-off, nothing more.

Let me know when he can handle swear words again and as a result, is willing to reissue the music in his catalogue that anyone gives a damn about.
No hard feelings.

Um the "nasty Prince" never left. Name me any Prince album from 1998 onwards and I'll tell you a lyric/song that is evidence of "nasty Prince." He just stopped cussing, not being sexual.

I do like me some nasty Prince. I don't think he has to swear in his lyrics to hold my attention but I also don't think he should censor his own lyrics. He's still just as sexy as ever at 49, maybe even sexier. He doesn't have to hump the stage or the mic stand. These days, I'm enjoying him making love to his guitar more than anything.

Nasty Prince should have never left. And as for being 49, what the hell does age have to do with it? First of all, 49 is not old. Maybe it is compared to these little thugged out Romper Roomers that control the music scene these days but 49 isn't old at all. Even if he was 89, old folks (the cool ones at least) have a right to be nasty to the day they die. Hell, LaWanda Page (Aunt Esther) was old as hell and cussed like a damn sailor....and I wouldn't have wanted to hear her any other way. I hope I'm still the foul mouthed motherfucker I've always been when I'm as old as she was. lol

He would still look great. He's still in shape, he's not all wrinkled up (but I guess not because he's only 49, not 89) and all his chest and pubic hair is still black and not gray. He'd look great to this very day being butt ass naked with his dick hanging out. lol

Hell's yeah! I think that Prince has forgotten that it's one of the things that has gotten him to what he is today (music legend). Besides being one of the baddest, most creative, and groundbreaking artists on the face of this planet, brotha man was pretty sexy. He opened up a lot of doors for artists to express themselves and challenge the status quo when it came to sex in music. So why should he discard it even at his age?

I think it's faith that has been suppressing him if you ask me. But really, do you wanna see a completely puritanical, asexual side of Prince? Come on, I listen to Morrissey for the asexual stuff. lol I want Prince to get naughty like he used to.

Another thing that made me look up to Prince was that he was very brave in this area. He once preached the gospel of sexual liberation and freedom, and that was something that I had admired greatly about him. I kinda understand what he means when he says "keeping your clothes on is being different". It seems like in order to get sign and have your career take off, you gotta be skimpy and whorish for the media. Prince was doing it at a time where it was shocking to do what he did. But if everyone's doing it, then it's not so shocking anymore. And he's right. But he's taking it too far. He doesn't have to be sexy all the time. But sometimes it would be nice. giggle

If That woman thought the lyrics were filthy...She probably hasn't noticed how clean the Mississippi river is...because...Prince always hides a pearl when he's talking about sex.
