Is there any way to get Prince's symbol on the iPod? Not like The way where you type O, (, +, >, but the regualar way? Like this: . I want to have it erect.

I was trying to do this last week. I discovered you can add 'special characters' in tunes to the titles of your playlists etc. I have tried to import the font but not with any success. Yet! I can put 's and several other icons in though.

If I'm not mistaken, it has to be a special character that is available through Mac.

I think you have to use ASCII symbols.

The iPod, as well as Winamp or what not, use the ID3 tag of your files for the display information.

ID3 tags can only contain ASCII symbols:

But you can get a lot more than that (on a mac anyway) You can get all the characters from zapf dingbats and other 'symbol' fonts. If you go to special character section. Maybe it depends on what fonts you have on your computer.
But I got hundreds of symbols to work, just not THE symbol!
