No, I want to have the symbol under artists. You know what I'm saying? When I scroll through my artists, I would like to have the actual symbol prince, instead of
O,(,+,>.

Ha!
I was trying to do this last week. I discovered you can add 'special characters' in tunes to the titles of your playlists etc. I have tried to import the prince font but not with any success. Yet! I can put heart's and several other icons in though.

Yeah, I got actual stars that I put in for N*E*R*D and stuff like that, and other basic symbols. But I really want to get prince on there. lol

If I'm not mistaken, it has to be a special character that is available through Mac.

Yeah I have the mac font version. I even got it to appear in itunes like one of the other symbols. But as soon as you deselect it it turns back into an 'S'. The PRNC font only has one letter 'S' which comes up as a
prince in all other applications. Stumped. I know what has to be done I think. The font character has to be turned into a symbol with Font manager or something.

! eek

I think you may be correct. However, the ipod may only have a certain amount of fonts available for display.

That sux.

I think you have to use ASCII symbols.

The iPod, as well as Winamp or what not, use the ID3 tag of your files for the display information.

ID3 tags can only contain ASCII symbols:

But you can get a lot more than that (on a mac anyway) You can get all the characters from zapf dingbats and other 'symbol' fonts. If you go to special character section. Maybe it depends on what fonts you have on your computer.
But I got hundreds of symbols to work, just not THE symbol!
