They were working on something when she was going to release Glitter but like she said, they didn't finish it.

It was in 1990/91 Winter at Paisley Park.

In one interview he also talks about how Mariah should demand more from the record companies - that was the time were he said 'screw it!' and started releasing his own music through the music club.

A co-written song would be great. But a baby-combo of Prince and Mariah would be the wildest!

She has an amazing voice, she can go higher than the last key on the piano, even higher than dolphins I've heard. What those two voices entwined could do... I can only dream of.

When Mariah was recording songs for 'Glitter' in 2000,she met with Prince and asked him for a song.She wanted songs by 80s hitmakers,to fit the time period of her film.She received songs from Rick James ("All My Life"),Cameo's Larry Blackmon ("Loverboy" which samples a Cameo song) and Jam and Lewis.I don't know if Prince ever gave her a song (probably not) but it wasn't used on the album or in the film.
