Hey y'all I am going to do a Prince best album survivor, but rather than list 10 albums and get you to vote them off one by one, I am going to get you to list your favourite 10 albums by Prince and the 10 most popular will be used in survivor.
There are however some rules.

1. You may choose as many albums as you like but no more than 10.
2. The albums must all be commercially released, no bootlegs, demos, jam sessions, singles, eps, unofficial albums, live concert recordings except NEWS and One Nite alone internet only ones. Or single discs eg SOT disc 2
3. No protege albums, must be Prince, and Prince and Revolution of Prince and the NPG
so acceptable ones are Goldnigga, Exodus, Kamasutra, but Children of the sun is not acceptable its Mayte 9Prince must be the main performer on it), sorry no Time of Sheila E albums either.
4. Invalid votes are not accepted.

Huh, why do you accept goldnigga and exodus? NPS I can understand, that really is a Prince outing. Madhouse is off? Oh well, it's not easy defining Prince-albums.

So far from the 11 responses, the most popular is Sign o the times with 11 votes, tie for 2nd are Dirty Mind and 1999 with 9 each, and close by are Controversy, Purple Rain, Parade, Black album, come and Lovesexy. Prince, Emancipation and Gold Experience are vying for 10th place, all albums except Chaos and Disorder, Newpowersoul, Rave and Planet Earth have a vote. Lets keep it up guys, as I know Planet Earth isn't THAT bad

(Grrrr 10 - you don't know how dirty I feel that For You, Dirty Mind and Controversy are not on that list!!!! I LOVE those albums - but I have to be fair to his new material. I can't continually live in the 80's - as much as I love to!!!)
