Dance Electric this song has been on heavy rotation as I like the spiritual asspect of this groove. What can anyone tell me about it ? What cd was it suppose 2 be on and why was it never released ? ? ?

 knew Andre did it back in the day but has it been offically released by "His Royal Badness" ? As his version is so much better ! The song kicks ass on so many levels ! Andres version is funky but Prince tears the Mo Fo up ! I understand that Prince is talking about the light within...However, we can see that illumination needs plenty of alteration around the world to save money on electricity....even the grocery stores, could tone it down some...The colleges especially. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight... | |

[Edited 4/23/08 6:06am] When it came out, it was promoted as "Andre Cymone featuring Prince" (though the album nor single said that.

Prince's version seems way longer than Andre's. I like Andre's version but Prince's is awesome - I think the fact that it isn't polished makes it sound more raw and "gritty"
Would be nice to hear it polished though....one day. | |
