i believe there are many reasons for the change
but really we may never know
the last time he replied to me (in '98), he said something like "don't write me anymore"
so i didn't
i saw him again during the early rainbow children days
he looked me in the eyes to show he saw me, then looked away
i still go to his shows when they come my way
but if he has anything to say
it's through his music ("love," "lion of judah," "PFUnk," etc.)

Bluefuish, I posted before I read the letter...that is so sweet....
I love when you said that Prince elevates your soul...That is such a beautiful understanding, coming from someone forced to sit...The ability to walk and dance, can be taken for granted.

Just to mention...I played 9 ball on a pool league one year, with guys in wheelchairs...they made me so mad...cuz they cleaned up the table faster than anyone

After she got onstage with P, my daughter sent thank-you letters to all the bandmembers in care of the Paisley Park address. She never got any responses, but we don't know if the band ever got the letters, either.

Speaking of letters, my daughter also sent a letter AND a DVD to our president. She never got a response from him, either.

I sent Prince a sexxy b~day card from Spencerz and enclosed a nice letter also.My response was a postcard with a pic of Prince on it.It simply read "thank u" I was like all

I was kind of at a loss for words as to what to write...at first my mind was overflowing with flowery language and hundreds of over-the-top compliments that would've made me sound like a fanatic.

I took a deep breath and thought: Write like Prince. Simple, candid, honest. Heartfelt, but not overdone. Respectful.

I hope that's what it comes off like.

Okay I feel weird posting this because I guess I was the only one that got this result. Anyway, I wrote to Prince when I was 8 years old going on 9(in 1992). I don't remember what the letter said but in it I included my school picture and my birth date. Well, 3 days before I turned 9 I got a package from Paisley. Inside was one of those venue posters(you know the huge ones in the frames outside of a show?)from the Act 1 Tour...one of the coolest things that had ever happened to me...
