Some of you are saying IF you got a reply when you wrote Prince, BUT NOONE is saying what the reply(if any said) like "Take care, Love Prince" type stuff or was it jut a autograph or what details folks details please!

The postcards I recieved were just addressed to me...I haven't looked at them recently, but I don't remember any handwritten response.

I wrote a letter to Paisley Park (the business) once. I said in the letter that I lived in Michigan and wanted to plan an Autumn trip to MPLS, and asked if they offered any tours or if PP was open to the public. I never heard back; never went to MPLS either.

I don't really think Prince reads (or read, in the past tense) his fan letters. I did read somewhere that any package with bulk to it (i.e. cassettes, clothing, souvenirs) that are mailed to him get destroyed/throw away immediately without opening.

I remember at one of the first O2 aftershows I was in the front row and someone in the crowd handed Prince a note.He took it off them,read it and then pretended to wipe his ass with it before handing it back.

I would have loved to have known what that note said

I sent a fan letter to Billy Joel saying i appreciate his music. I actually got a postcard back to. It was him on his new harley.
