Instrumental playing during PR love scene? I love the instrumental song being played during the love scene in Purple Rain, and have been meaning to ask if it was just made for the movie or if it's an actual song? Please inform me,Thanks!.....  | |

Gosh, I like that piece of music. The first few times I watched PR, I didn't even notice the music--I was paying so much attention to Prince. I love a Man who:

Yes, I've often wondered the same - I've always loved this piece from the movie. It always left me wanting more! Soooo beautiful. Hopefully someday I will be able to hear it in its fullness!  | |

Yes, I've often wondered the same - I've always loved this piece from the movie. It always left me wanting more! Soooo beautiful. The song was released on the German and UK 12" vinyl Purple Rain singles. The vocal version is also on the records.
I love the instrumental cut. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
