Celebration music

Who has live trax from the Prince's Celebration, from Paisley Park? I'm not asking for them, I'm curious to know if someone was able record trax from within Paisley Park.

Every night was recorded and is in circulation with varying degrees of quality.

Think I might go and put it on, I haven't listened to for ages.. biggrin

Not that I condone bootlegs of course! innocent

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Mmm

As far as I know, not every night circulates.

Prince performed at each of the three full Celebrations (2000-2) although not every night.

At the first Celebration in 2000, he made a very brief cameo appearance during Macy Gray's set (uncirculating) at Paisley Park. Prince's concert performance at Northrop at the end of the week circulates.

During the second Celebration in 2001, he gave access to a reherasal to some people on the first day (afternoon) and then performed after the Indie Arie set that night. Neither performance circulates. His other cameo appearances during that week at Paisley Park circulate, together with his concert performances at the Excel Energy Center, St Paul and the first night soundcheck, although his cameo with the Fonky Bald Heads on the second night has not surfaced.

All of Prince's performances for the third Celebration in 2002 circulate

Yeah sorry, I was talking about the 2002 celebration.

The other 2 were a bit pap so I tend to gloss over them! lol
