During the last 7-8 Prince gigs I've been to Prince has allowed members of the audience to come on stage to dance and sometimes sing (pre-selected?) but I've never seen him let anyone play one of his instruments. Has anybody seen this happen? And if it did, which instrument would you go for? I always bring a guitar pick... just in case!

I sort of recall that someone mentioned here on the org,
that they got to play on stage with Prince,
unless I was dreaming.

I read that at an aftershow around ONA he let someone onstage from the audience demonstrate they're guitar playing abilities. The guy said he was so nervous he messed up badly!

If I am not totally wrong, at the soundcheck of ONA, Zurich, a girl played his piano, but he sent her off the stage ...

I'd go straight for a tambourine, you just have to have rhythm, doesn't need sheet music.
