Club Goa in Hollywood last night was having a tribute to Prince night. All Prince Music all night long spun by DJ EQue and Prince’s own D.J., DJ Rashida. The tunes were off the chain. We can’t remember the last time L.A. did something like this.

Sometime after 1 A.M, Prince showed up! He was in the V.I.P. booth chilling. While we kept the dance floor hot as we all continued to shake, we were treated to an unreleased song called “Prince & The Band”. Man, that track is kicking. We left the club with smiles. Can’t wait til Jay Leno next Friday night to see Prince again as the Dr. hipped you all to first yesterday.-Nurse Knotty

Wonder if the lyrics were changed to reflect the new band members?

^From what I see, it's an entertainment website. They seem to be getting hooked up and I say good. As long as I hear something about Prince from someone, I'm all good. Good to see Prince is all over the place. I want to hear Prince and the Band, the studio version that is! I wish I was back in L.A.

ooh, breaking new ground then!, great here come the horns & retro funk sound again!. Come on P say somethin' new!.Just hope any new CD will see him say something worthwhile. Just been listening to Stevie's songs in the key of life, need i say more!.

I recall an Orger mentioning that he played a snippet of the song 'Prince and the Band' at the O2 and how excited she was to hear it live...

Would be nice if he WAS releasing some of the back catalogue at long last.

its not nessecarely new, hes been playing that since 2002 so the studio version could be up to 6 years old

see, now there's a thing. Whilst I whinge about the 'new track', one look at this brief clip knocks me sideways with that cool attitude, pout and pimp walk! Reminds me of his entrance to the Baguleys aftershow many moons ago. Once a pimp always a pimp!. Now if he could just make music to match the look and attitude then we're back in business!.

I have no idea what exactly that is he's holding, but he needs to always hold something, hence the excessive collar touching. he needs some good hands instead.
