i just listened to this track called u gotta shake something but it isnt the same track as the other track from the flesh.... it has the lyrics i gotta shake this feeling baby, i gotta shake it now, over the same backing as purple rain (sounds a little different alot more piano)

is this track for real or has some one been messing around????

it's from a rehearsal in 84'. it's purple rain with p just saying "gotta shake this feeling baby..." instead of the real lyrics. nothing to do with u gotta shake something . completely authentic . probably my favorite rehearsal boot too, neon rendezvous .

and iv heard neon rendezvous but it wasnt very clear, so it ruined it a bit i should hav another listen, i heard nu power soul for the first time today, i was quiet suprised its great =D

It´s just an adlibbed improvisation but it does sound great, doesn´t it ?
One of my favorite rehearsal sessions ever.
It also includes a few snippets from Another Lonely Christmas, somehow .
( i.e. The lyric " ...remember the time we swam naked in your father´s pool?")
