Some New Power questions...

Has Prince ever defined what he means by New Power, other than the song "New Power Generation"? Admittedly, that song makes its definition pretty clear; I just wondered if he had ever talked about its meaning anywhere.

I believe the first time he ever used the expression "New Power" is during the "A Love Bizarre" performance on "Romance 1600 Live." Is that the case or did he use it earlier?

I think it's like he says in the song NPG, pushing forward with new ideas. Making progress in all areas of life rather than sticking to old ones.

Funny, lately he's all about tradition. Maybe the NPG will become OTB--Prince and the Olde Tyme Band.
