Awesome that it was a new song! Although P already has a song called Loose..hmm

The beginning was Prince people...it was staged - he stalled like he was debating playing and the woman were telling his to get out there and sing it! He also did it to get the crowd hyped which he did - they were nutso! Always good to see when P is live on TV

The performance could have used more energy but as Anx pointed out its got that festival sound to it- good point - imagine being outside watching P listeing to this song - great summer joint!

The lelisha girl everyone has been talking bout was in the middle with the fro
and on that note I liked the girls - way mo betta than the twinz - however the girl singing at the end could have been cleaner - Prince's reaction is classic!

The entire perfomance had that Vegas 3121 afterparty vibe which was cool 2 see

Set was bad-ass! one of his best on live TV...IMO - the BAD-ASS pic hanging in the background!!! Lets hope its the new CD cover!!

See! I KNEW that was Ledisi! Good shit for her! And I coulda swore that Marva chick was chick was N'Dambi - The fros are very similiar - I was like "Oh shit! P done got 2 of the best voices in the Neo Soul biz to back him up! Go head, little muthafucka!" - But overall, the song was blah.

Prince's fans know Prince better than Prince knows himself. I know Prince hates to hear it, and steam is probably fuming from his ears, but it's a message he's gotta hear. And he also hates when he talk down about Larry Graham.

O please. If people here were honest, they'd agree 100% with Wall. This is yet another pathetic, mediocre, generic James Brown-pastiche, which Prince BTW didn't sing but yelled or even shrieked at times.

Goddammit, this isn't even a song. If you made a machine that generated cliched, unoriginal, bland, MOR muzak, this is what would be under the button "James Brown-style funk".

Ledisi is from the Bay area and can sing her ass off. She had an album called Soulsinger and then she just released Lost and Found.

I've had Ledisi on my myspace page for about a year, and didn't know much about her, but I've seen her video lately on BET and I've heard her name mentioned by a quite a few people. I've also seen her perform on Michael Baisden's show. She does have a nice track called "In The Morning."

I thought this new song was horrible. My girl and I sat through an equally boring and terrible Jay Leno show with about 90% more commercials than show... really, does anybody watch TV anymore?

Anyway, this new song was flat, boring, and utterly worthless. Yet ANOTHER song about how his online fans "don't know him" and that they should "give him what he needs". "Turn Me Loose" makes "Get on the Boat" look like Mozart. Give it a rest already.

And what kind of band was that? About a hundred people on stage. The only bright spot was Renato, who is a real trooper to lower himself to play such beautiful keys to such low quality music -- what a mess of a song. Embarrassingly bad -- a performance and song that wouldn't appeal to a person who was 18 or 80 or even the mentally ill. I felt ashamed watching it with my girl.

Prince... in all seriousness... what's happened to your skills?
