So the television commercials for The Tonight Show this week have been emphasizing Earth Day/Earth Week. Last night Julia Louis-Dreyfus was on talking about ways to recycle, etc. Maybe Prince will perform Planet Earth since that is the most socially conscious "Earth day" type of recent song.  I hope I'm wrong--I'd rather he'd do something new and funky--which is definitely not how I'd describe Planet Earth.

Folks - I just wanted to apologise for org'rs with regards to a breakdown in communication on ticketing.
Housequake.com managed to secure a handful (6) tickets for Friday's show and I emailed Ben on Monday offering the org a share of these. Unfortunately, despite many follow up emails I haven't been able to get hold of him and we had a deadline for providing the guest list names of last night. The contest information was cross-posted to the org in order to allow members here to sign up on HQ and enter fairly, however it appears that was removed by the moderating team. I'm sure they'll be other events that will see fan ticket allocation in the future so I will continue to track down the elusive Mr Margolin and ensure we have a clear communication channel. I don't want people feeling there's a divide between Housequake and the org and would like everyone to be assured this was a one-off glitch due to extreme time constraints. I used to be all, had to see and hear everything the moment it was released or aired and stuff!! Of course - Prince is an addiction and he is the drug!!!! Now with all the restrictions and that, I've learnt to chill a bit more and have confidence in the power and luxury of the internet! As long as I get to see it the end, I don't so much mind when!!! I'm excited- I just read an article abt the Coachella concert and immediately thought to go to the org and find out more info. Apparently, the concert managers (or whoever is in charge of getting talent) have been trying to get Prince to come for 10 years. So maybe they annoyed him enough and he broke down... thanks Coachella! It'll be great for the concert and for the other acts performing.
