Prince on Chris Rock show? Which Season? I've seen Prince perform Face down on the Chris Rock show but what season was this?

the performance is from april or march 1997 isnt it??
its a mimed perfprmance anyway, the audio is from jan 11th (the nyc live cassette also is from that date) | |

Prince did appeared on the Chris Rock Show, he only sang "face down" at the end of the show. VH1 to one is something else. Chris Rock did interview Prince during that series but no performance. |

This is what I wanted to know. This is a review from the link you gave Despite what another reviewer says, yes this set IS edited. I guess they never say "The COMPLETE Seasons 1 & 2" for a reason. I couldn't find anything specific about this set online beforehand, so I finally took the plunge... and am very disappointed. For those wondering, yes the very first episode of the series - with Johnnie Cochran and Prince - has had Prince's performance, and any mention of Prince, completely removed from the episode. On the disc, the episode runs just over 20 minutes long as opposed to the close to 30 minutes of the other episodes. I love Chris, I love this show, but I feel that I've been had by HBO thanks to the very careful wording on the packaging and the lack of any detailed information about this set elsewhere. At this point, I haven't yet gone through the rest of the set to see what may be missing, but having such a huge chunk cut out of the first episode isn't a great way to start I WON'T BOTHER BUYING IT NOW! Thanks Savage So Prince is edited out, that figures. Ever see that infomerical for the best of Midnite Special DVD???? You know they won't have Prince's appearance on that eithier. Also in the mid to late 90's I was at blockbuster and rented the video Saturday Night live 15th anniversary because I wanted to see Prince singing "The Electric chair", that too was not included. |
