While plans are underway to try and reschedule the concert for 2009, no details are confirmed at this stage thus ticket holders can obtain a full ticket refund including booking fee from their Ticketmaster point of purchase from 09.00 hrs Friday 13th June 2008. MCD & PRINCE wish to apologise for the inconvenience caused to the 55,161 patrons who purchased tickets, to Croke Park, their customers and all the individuals who have worked tirelessly to bring the show to Dublin. | |

It might sound harsh, but i've spent the last few months saying 'there's no way prince can let down 80,000 fans' but my god he did.
I'm stunned, I really am. I don't want him to die of course, I guess i'm just hurt, really really hurt for me and the many fans coming from all over the world | |

dude, it's just a concert. It's not like he killed a child or something. Good lord, you'd think the 2nd coming of Christ was cancelled or something. Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together | |

No point in that cause there are people here in their 30, 40's and even 50's who act worse than children when it comes to Prince around here. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

He cancelled his SOTT concert here in London (Wembley Stadium), back in 1987. This is my favourite tour of his and I'd even bought peach and black clothes as he requested (U Got The Look vid was due to be filmed there).
I was only 16 and I was pissed off but hey, it is just a concert ( I never did wear those peach trouers though). [Edited 6/10/08 6:40am] | |
