Transfer Prince Vinyl to CD Peep this site to get your rare stuff transfered to CD. Think about your huge collection of 12" vinyl and the other great associates that never made it to CD. Minneapolis' famous Needle Doctor says that they do an excellent job.

I'm getting ready to do this. Any suggestions on what software to use? Or any other tips from the experts? Thanks! http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista | |

I'm getting ready to do this. Any suggestions on what software to use? Or any other tips from the experts? Thanks! I did this using my Mac. Bought a little device called an "iMic." Connected my stereo to the iMic, the iMic to the Mac, and recorded the audio using Sound Studio Pro. When finished, you can filter out noise, adjust volume levels, etc., save the file as a .wav or .aif file, and burn to a CD. Also did this with a number of cassette boots from back in the day. If you're using a Mac, orgnote me for more details if you'd like. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife.
