Have you met Prince? Who has met Prince before or got close enough to touch him?

i havent met prince in person, but i can tell you that he's absolutely delightful. not necessarily delightful in the way most people expect that word to mean, but delightful in his excruciatingly exquisite psychological complexity and willingness to try anything. a heart of pure gold, self-defeating, quick-witted but its a dull-wit which i find delightful, qwirky, veiled, and totally vulnerable, sensitivities so deep that the face-value front is nothing but endearing....delightful, delightful, delightful.

Back in the day..Prince was in talks with the then entertainments manager of the Hippodrome London about doing trapeez in his forthcoming shows.Said person was invited to the Ritz in London,were we were invited to an after show party in Wall st. At around 4.30 Prince came in wearing a cream suit with gold paisley, he walked across the dance floor and atempted to hurdle a metal rail and promptly fell on his ass, he then spent 20mins looking in the mirror with his back to us checking out the room(embaressed).In the mean time my girlfriend and I were up and dancing (alone), then Prince and a girl came up right next to us and started to dance(intense dont talk)soon followed by others.Prince was chilled out enjoying himself dancing, now and again id get eye contact but you had to pretend that it was so everyday, all this went on untill 6.30 when he left soon followed by us.  so | |

I was close enough 2 reach out and touch him during the ONA tour when he walked up the aisle with his guitar at the very beginning of the show.I was lucky enough 2 have an end seat.I have 2 much respect 4 him 2 do that,tho.I was like this on the outside  but on the inside I was like this  | |

I kinda ignored him - yes I did and I have never got over it lol - just because I thought why would he talk to me..... We were at the ONA tour sound check and myself and a friend concentrated on getting good seats as the door opened.... I walked down the middle and there was Prince standing on stage in front of me - lights up and nobody in front of me.... I just couldn't believe it and then he said Hey You Hello..... I just didn't know he was talking to me until I looked at him and he said Yeah I'm talking to you..... I just got my seat and my friend said you just blanked Prince he was talking to you.....
Oh my god..... When I think back I probably would have waved or made a fool of myself but I never wanted to blank him eeek! | |

I don`t mett him .But one night after The Gold experince tour he went 2 the IT in Amsterdam .I ordered 2 beers and turn around and he was standing in front off me .I was wearing the symbol neckles and he looked at it and smiled .I was so confused that i thought it was not real hahah.After 3 weeks i read unb a dutch magazine called Nieuwe Reveu .That the new owner don`t gived Prince a seat in a VIP Room that night. | |

He was about 3 people in front of me at a Super Walmart here in Tampa having a fierce argument with the cashier about the price of the ground beef (apparently it's cheaper up north ). He held up the line for at least an hour. | |

well,  never met him ... really. he just touched my hand at the indigo last summer. stood second row during the after show party ... it was strange 4 me 2 c him so close 2 his fans ... felt like being in a movie really enjoyed him watching - he looked me straight in my eyes - reminded me of Under the Cherry Moon | |
