Diminuitive pop star Prince has decided to relocate to Britain - in an effort to be closer to his friend Lucy Mans, niece of screen legend Cary Grant.

The "Purple Rain" singer has struck up a close friendship with supermodel Mans and is looking at properties in Surrey, south England.

A source says, "Prince has told pals that he wants to move to the UK to see more of his friend Lucy. He has been obsessed with Cary Grant since watching all the old movies he starred in. Now when he's in town, they regularly go out for dinner and when they're apart, they call each other all the time.

"Prince has written to her from the US, telling her about his intended move - and it's fair to say she's overwhelmed by the idea."

However, despite their close relationship, Mans is slightly surprised that a simple friendship could cause the "When Doves Cry" star to move across the Atlantic.

The source continues, "Lucy is stunned that he's moving to the UK to be close to her. Of course, she's flattered by it all but still can't understand why he's so crazy about her and her late uncle. However, she does enjoy his company and has admitted to her pals that she's looking forward to seeing a lot more of him."

And no matter how completely untrue something is, there is no shortage of people who believe it, probably beacuse they want to belive something 'crazy'. It gives them something to gossip about to their friends. And these are the same people who comletely freak out when they find out someone is talking aboutthem behind their back, but they've got no qualms about doing the same to a celeb. Oh well.

Well, on one of the local Toronto News Broadcasts the story was that Prince has left Mani and is divorcing her, selling his house in Toronto, moving to London England because he has fallen in love with said model.

WTF?

Mind you, it was only on one of the regional newscasts and the girl that does entertainment is relatively new.

Sorry folks but I saw Mani a couple of times in Europe (recently) watching the shows on the side lines. P would dash off to the side of the stage and chat and laugh with her until he came back on so I would not believe the rumours of a divorce for heavens sake!

Wasn't it that Prince lookalike who was cavorting about with Cary Grant's niece in the British tabloid a month or so ago? Maybe he's decided to relocate and someone is confusing him with Prince.
